Rudraksha Beads

Significance of Rudraksha Beads (रूद्राक्ष माला)

Rudraksha has always had a spiritual significance in Eastern cultures owing to its numerous therapeutic properties and unique reverberations which are conducive to the Human system.

It is a multi-faceted dried seed procured from the ‘Elaeocarpus ganitrus’ tree, usually grown in high altitude regions like the Himalayas.

According to Shiva Purana, Rudraksha is said to have originated from the eyes of Lord Shiva in the form of tears that landed on earth near Kailash Mountain and formed the Rudraksha tree.

This is why the Rudraksha tree grows mostly in the Himalayan regions of Nepal and India. Rudraksha trees also grow in Myanmar, Indonesia (Sumatra and Java), Srilanka, the Philippines, Madagascar, etc.

The Rigveda mentions; Rukh draavayathi iti rudraha (Rukha means ‘grief, distress or anguish’, Draavayathi means ‘to eradicate’, ‘iti’ means ‘that’ or ‘who’, and Rudra means another name of Shiva). It means Shiva who eradicates miseries or grief.

A person who wears all Rudraksha becomes become Me. So one must attempt from all levels to wear the divine Rudraksha – Shiva in the Padma Purana

Rudraksha came to Existence From Devi Bhagwat Puran (11:4) Conversation between Mahadev and Kartikey.

Once you start wearing them, you get so much attracted towards their energies. In ayurveda Rudraksha is regarded as medicine.

After the demolition of Tripur lord Shiva, Bramha, Vishnu, Indra, and other gods went to the Himalayas to get rest. Lord Shiva closed his eyes and meditated for some time.

When he opened his lotus-shaped eyes tears fell from them on the earth. Those tears are decent over Sitsail hill. Sometime after those tears became rudraksha trees.

Padma Purana, Chapter 57, Sri Bhagavan said, “If a man always wears a Rudraksa with fourteen mouths, permeated with God’s auspicious power, he is always honored and blessed by the demigods due to the greatness of his religious merit.”

All Rudraksha is cosmic seed from Eternal Law or Sanatan Dharm. Your Trust make every universe every particle effective or useless.
